In 2019, the international brand consulting agency Interbrand prepared a list of the 100 best global brands, including auto manufacturers. The selection of the best was based on three criteria: financial activity (here economic profit was taken into account first of all), the role of the brand (how much it influences the consumer’s decision to buy) and the strength of the brand (its reputation and how attached consumers are to it).

We bring to your attention the Best Car Brands, compiled on the basis of the Interbrand rating.

10. Nissan

Nissan

Having started its journey back in 1933, the company never ceases to develop and amaze the world community with innovations. Projects such as the next generation of New York taxis, the Nissan DeltaWing tailor-made for Le Mans, the Nissan Leaf electric car that set new standards for eco-friendly cars and the Nissan Juke, which is actively sold around the world, are clear examples of this.

9. Porsche

Porsche

Since 2012, the company has been part of the Volkswagen Group, and therefore it now faces another important test – to preserve its identity and uniqueness, without succumbing to outside influence.

8. Audi

Their models such as Ford Focus and Ford Fusion continue to be sold in huge numbers around the world and do not lose their popularity, including in emerging markets. The international influence of the company, which has been operating since 1903, is growing more and more, thanks in large part to their open approach to customers.

5. Volkswagen

Volkswagen

The largest German car manufacturer, whose Volkswagen up! was awarded the title of “Car of the Year” in 2012 (World Car of the Year). The creators of such cultural phenomena as the Volkswagen Beetle and Volkswagen Type 2 continue to hold the brand and sell millions of cars every year. In addition, they have become arguably the most environmentally friendly carmaker in the world today, increasingly exploring the challenges of alternative energy options.

4. Honda

Honda

The rating of car brands could not do without this company, which produces models that are very popular all over the world. Only one Honda Accord was recognized as the best car in 2012 in many countries! In addition, the safety and reliability of their products only adds extra points to the manufacturer’s already excellent reputation. Despite some setbacks in recent years, such as, for example, the not quite successful generation of the Honda Civic, the company continues to delight its fans with quality cars.

The company has always been keen on innovation, as evidenced by the i-series, focused on powerful and sustainable cars.

2. Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz

BMW’s main competitor for the title of Best Premium Car Manufacturer.
