BMW has announced the introduction of new iDrive 7.0 software. This software will be available in the flagship line of cars. The manufacturer will complement it with paid extensions available at the ConnectedDrive store.

BMW representatives during the presentation of the new software announced the launch of the aforementioned store. By default, concert news will receive several useful options directly from the assembly line, and the driver will have to pay every month to unlock them.

What will you have to pay for? For activating the possibility of heating the seats or steering wheel, for the inclusion of adaptive cruise control, as well as other features. BMW has tested a similar principle before, offering customers to regularly pay access to Apple CarPlay. The concern believes that this approach will allow drivers to activate options that they rarely use, only if necessary.
