Trump doesn’t care who pays it

The US government should receive “a large percentage” of the proceeds from the sale of the Chinese TikTok application to the US company Microsoft. This was announced yesterday by US President Donald Trump (Donald Trump).

US counts on share of TikTok sale

According to Trump, the United States will make it possible for this Chinese-owned app to be sold and therefore deserves its share of the revenue. Whether the reward comes from China or from Microsoft, Trump doesn’t care.

We will remind, a few days earlier, the US president intimidated the Chinese company ByteDance, which owns TikTok, which will sign a decree banning the application in the United States. ByteDance, which rates TikTok, which has rapidly gained popularity among American teens, at $ 50 billion, succumbed to pressure and yielded in negotiations for the sale. According to the American side, TikTok poses a threat to national security while in the hands of the Chinese.
