It is implemented in Chrome Canary
It would seem that editing passwords is the simplest and most convenient function that should be in any browser. But in fact, for some reason, manufacturers are in no hurry to implement it, offering only to update the previously memorized password. Fortunately, Chrome will fix this problem soon.
More precisely, it has already been solved in Chrome Canary, an experimental version of the browser. By activating the corresponding menu item in the settings, the user can edit any of the saved passwords – the corresponding menu item appears to the right of the password by pressing the button with three dots.
