This week, the GeForce RTX 3000 line of graphics cards will be replenished with another model with an Nvidia GA104 GPU – the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. Online stores are actively preparing for the start of sales of new items, publishing information about cards of alternative design, without waiting for the end of the NDA. Some retailers go even further and have already started shipping the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti to new owners, but first things first.
The Swiss store Digitec has unveiled a trio of GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards performed by Micro-Star International. The flagship solution in the MSI range will be the Gaming X Trio. It received a massive cooling system with three fans, two 8-pin connectors for additional power supply and factory overclocking – the GPU boost frequency was increased to 1830 MHz (from 1665 MHz). According to preliminary information, it will be available in overseas retail at a price of $ 470.
One step below is the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 3X OC. In it, the manufacturer used a shortened PCB with one PCI-E Power 8-pin connector and a simpler 3-fan cooler. The video card occupies the space of two expansion slots, the boost mode frequency is 1695 MHz.
One of the most affordable options for MSI’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will be the Ventus 2X, which is content with a cooling system with a pair of fans. The vendor has provided factory overclocking of the Nvidia GA104 core. As in the case of the Ventus 3X OC, the GPU boost frequency is increased to 1695 MHz.
Meanwhile, in Portugal, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards have begun to come to owners. One of the lucky ones bought a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC for 526 euros (including 23% VAT). Unfortunately, he has not yet been able to test the novelty. The set of drivers for the video card is not yet freely available and will be made public only after its release.
